Update 4

Productive session this afternoon, replaced the rear tyre with one that now holds air, should help with handling, she's now shod with Conti Go (18" front & 120/90H18 65H rear), not convinced they're best visually but finding matching tyres at a reasonable price has been challenging given the front isn't stock.

I also got around to fitting the replacement exhaust, it was a bit a of bargain, £100 for a full Marshall system.  Apart from from a few dings its in great nick, mind you a tin can would be an improvement on the old system!!

I also fitted a Rizoma brake reservoir, ok its a bit weighty but its not like this bike is gonna win any GPs when its finished, plus it's shiney.  I also had my first look at the Motogadge M-unit and M button.

I also refitted the refurbed carbs with pod filters (again they probably won't be the final pods but they were cheap), the tank is being sent away to be cleaned and sealed and I still gotta figure out the switch gear. so far that's my biggest head ache...  I'm thinking about a vintage headlight with headlight switches, sunk speedo and idiot lights; I might get away then with using micro switches on the bars for key functions.
