BIKES

It all started with a bit of tinkering on my 1994 ZZR600 'ULGa' and my interest has grown from there.  Currently my poject is a 1980 Yamaha XS850, not that I've stopped tinkering with ULGa, I just fancied a fresh challenge... well you get what you wish for.

CREDIT

I have to give credit to Matt Liddy and Simon Fraulo of Oval Motorcycle Centre, without their facility, experience and humour I'd not be doing half of these shinanigans.

If you're not already familar the OMC is a self service workshop where you can hire a work bench complete with tools to work on your bike.  They also run evening classes in basic maintenance and valve clearences.

They cater for all abilities and Matt (the resident mechanic) is a fountain of knowledge.  Check out their site: www.ovalmotorcyclecentre.co.uk

Harper's Ultrasonic - Carb claners and refurb extraordinaire

Matt quite simply did a terrific job and I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone needing to get their carbs cleaned.  Check out his website: www.harpers-ultrasonic.com
